R&D Project Manager
Profile
Genbioma is currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced candidate, with initiative, leadership and ability for teamwork, to join the R&D team. The candidate will plan, implement, and coordinate scientific projects and grants within the established budget, timeline, and scope. The successful candidate will lead the coordination and management of the EU and collaborative national R&D projects and will be involved in the promotion of EU and national R&D funding opportunities through proposals preparation and calls dissemination. The candidate will be expected to interact closely with lab members, trainees, faculty, and institutional leadership across the EU and external consortia.
Main Functions

You will be responsible for identifying, coordinating, and writing research and innovation proposals within the defined deadline and budget.

Knowledge and monitoring of R&D funding calls to apply competitively.

You will be the main point of contact between stakeholders and the project team.

Management of national and international consortiums.

Support the preparation of proposals, justification and reports.

Other responsibilities include attending conferences and competitions, contributing to marketing and related events, and occasionally travelling.
Experience & Skills
-
Previous experience in preparing collaborative European/ Spanish projects in the Biotech/Food/Pharma industries in R&D calls such as EIC, Horizon Europe, H2020, LIFE or ERA-NETs…

Applications and justifications of Spanish and EU R&D proposals.

Set project timelines and monitor deliverables.

Leading R&D Consortiums/team.
-
Having expertise in microbiome science will be highly valued.

Bachelor’s or Ph.D. degree on biotechnology or scientific careers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

English level, minimum C1.
